BRADSHAW, Ray Jr. – of Otisville, age 80, passed away Monday, December 29, 2025, at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held at 12 PM on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor James Brabson officiating. Interment, with Military Honors, will immediately follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will welcome visitors from 4-7 PM on Monday, January 5, 2026. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Tuesday, beginning at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes National Cemetery Advisory Council, in Ray's memory.
Ray was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, on August 26, 1945, the son of the late George Ray and Merlene (Cowser) Bradshaw. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1965 to 1967 during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart for his service. Ray dedicated 24 years as a committeeman at AC, serving eight terms before retiring in 2003 after over 30 years of service. Following his retirement, he embraced his most cherished role as a full-time Papa. Ray enjoyed watching sports, treasured time spent with his grandchildren and had a special love for his pets.
Ray is survived by his wife, Margaret Bradshaw; significant other, Debra Whitten; children: Brian (Kelli) Bradshaw, Keith (Elizabeth Sims) Bradshaw, and Jamie (Mark) Jacobs; grandchildren: Anthony, Nicholas, Brandon (Brooke), Summer (Joe), Rachel, Robbie, Henry, and Virgil; great granddaughter, Lily Bradshaw; brother, Jimmy Bradshaw; faithful companion, Penny; many nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by both parents; siblings: Pat Byers, George Bradshaw, Richard Bradshaw, Allen Bradshaw, and Ann LaFerney; faithful companion, Rosie.
