Ray C. Callahan, 84, a native and resident of Larose, LA, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, September 15, 2025 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Larose, LA. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Katherine Remont Callahan; daughters, Rachel Guidroz (C.J.) and Raynella Hebert (Fred); grandchildren, Jason Gisclair (Lacie), Cody Hebert (Nicole), Ajah Breaux (Zack), Aaron Guidroz (Kristina), Adam Guidroz (Alyse); 9 great grandchildren; brothers, Dudley Callahan and Paul Callahan (Chris) and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Hazel Lee Callahan.
“Uncle Ray “, as he was known to his fellow workers, was a retired tugboat captain and cattle farmer. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
