Ray Anthony Casias passed away at his home in Santa Fe, New Mexico on July 14, 2025. He was born on June 6, 1969 to Frank and Deluvina Casias. He leaves behind his beloved wife Erica and his two boys Ethan and Nolan. He is survived by his Mother, Deluvina Casias, and his brothers and sisters, Angela Heimerich, Rhonda and her husband Doug Largent, Chris Casias, and Stephanie and her husband Woody Lawrence. His is also survived by his Mother and Father-in-law Randy and Tamy Doshier and his brother-in-law Harry and his wife Tiffany Doshier. He has 9 nephews, 6 nieces and several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Frank Casias and his brother-in-law Michael Doshier.
He graduated from Santa Fe High school and then went on to college and received his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and later returned to college to receive his Masters in Accounting. He joined the Air Force in 1992 and was a pilot for the AC130U Gunships. He did several overseas tours during his enlistment including Afghanistan and Kuwait. He was honorably discharged in 2003. He married his wife Erica on December 4, 2004 and they had two Children, Ethan and Nolan. He worked for Barnsley Construction as a Construction Manager up until his passing. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and watching New Mexico United play soccer with his family. Ray truly enjoyed life, and deeply cherished his family and friends.
