Brooks Ambos Obituary
(1934-2025)
Brooks L. Ambos Jr., a devoted husband, father, veteran, and pastor, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025, at the age of 91.
Born on July 24, 1934, Brooks lived a life guided by faith, service, and an unwavering sense of purpose. Brooks proudly served his country for 20 years as a Naval aviator, carrying out his duties with courage and love of country. Following his military service, Brooks answered a spiritual calling and became a Methodist pastor serving in New Mexico conference for 20 years.
Brooks is survived by his beloved wife, Donna, with whom he shared a lifetime of partnership, love, and faith. He is also survived by his children, Vernon and Brooksene, grandchildren Madi, Emma, Cole and Ian, great-grandchildren Leroy and Dean, who will carry forward his legacy.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 1:00-2:00pm at Covenant United Methodist Church, 8510 Wyoming Blvd NE. Please visit our online guestbook for Brooks at www.FrenchFunerals.com.
