Ray Woodward Dunlap, 84, of Otto, NC, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, NC. Born July 21, 1941 in Moultrie, GA, he was a son of the late Ollie Eustace Dunlap and Bertha Lee Dunlap.

Before moving to Otto, NC, he had resided in Moultrie, GA, Albany, GA, Chino Valley, AZ, and Franklin, NC. He was a graduate of Moultrie High School class of 1959 and was Formerly the owner of Dougherty Blueprint and Supply Company. Ray was a proud Mason and Shriner. Of his many hobbies working in carpentry, riding a motorcycle, casting a line for the big one, admiring antique trucks, target practice, telling stories and playing with his grandchildren were among his favorites.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Gene Eustace Dunlap.

Surviving are his spouse of 65 years, Sarah E, Dunlap; children, Rhonda Jean Evans and her spouse, Anthony, of Macon, GA, and Scott Ray Dunlap of Otto, NC; brother, Fred Woodward Dunlap (Charlotte) of Hoschton, GA; grandchildren; Aubrey Ray Evans and his spouse, Emily, of Portsmouth, VA, Jamison Anthony Evans and his spouse, Kelly, of Madras, OR, Dalton B. Dunlap and his spouse, Bobbi, of Lenexa, VA, and Matthew Scott Dunlap of Albany, GA; great-grandchildren, Anthony Evans, Tyler Evans, Mason Evans, Emma Evans, and William Ray Dunlap; brother-in-law's, Donald A. Goodroe and his spouse, Nina, and Craig Goodroe and his spouse, Melissa; nieces, Sandra Blankenship, Donna Hodges, Allison Vanderbough; and nephews, Luke Goodroe, Lane Goodroe, and David Dunlap.
