Ray Dunlap Obituary

OTTO - Ray Woodward Dunlap, 84, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025, at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock.
Born July 21, 1941, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was a son of the late Ollie Eustace Dunlap and Bertha Lee Dunlap.
Before moving to Otto, he had resided in Moultrie, Georgia; Albany, Georgia; Chino Valley, Arizona, and Franklin. He was a graduate of Moultrie High School class of 1959 and was formerly the owner of Dougherty Blueprint and Supply Company.
Ray was a proud member of the Snow Hill Methodist Church, a Mason and Shriner. Of his many hobbies, working in carpentry, riding a motorcycle, casting a line for the big one, admiring antique trucks, target practice, telling stories and playing with his grandchildren were among his favorites.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Gene Eustace Dunlap.
Surviving are his spouse of 65 years, Sarah E, Dunlap; children, Rhonda (Anthony) Jean Evans of Macon, Georgia, and Scott Ray Dunlap of Otto; brother, Fred (Charlotte) Woodward Dunlap of Hoschton, Georgia; grandchildren; Aubrey (Emily) Ray Evans of Portsmouth, Virginia, Jamison (Kelly) Anthony Evans of Madras, Oregon, Dalton (Bobbi) B. Dunlap of Lenexa, Virginia, and Matthew Scott Dunlap of Albany, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Anthony Evans, Tyler Evans, Mason Evans, Emma Evans and William Ray Dunlap; brothers-in-law, Donald (Nina) A. Goodroe and Craig (Melissa) Goodroe; nieces, Sandra Blankenship, Donna Hodges and Allison Vanderbough; and nephews, Luke Goodroe, Lane Goodroe and David Dunlap.
No formal services will be held at this time.
