Ray Fowler, 81, of Providence, KY passed away at his home on the morning of July 15, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Mr. Fowler was born in Morganfield, KY on March 27, 1944, the son of the late Mr. Austin Fowler and Mrs. Iva Bebout Fowler. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark B. Fowler and his sisters, Mary Alice Fowler, Norma Jean Quertermous, Barbara Sue Dennis, Jacqueline Betterton.

Mr. Fowler was a member of Second Baptist Church in Providence, he served his country faithfully and retired from the United States Navy after 20 years of service, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and worked at a Honda dealership after his retirement, he owned APC Computers and Trophies, he enjoyed playing golf and worked at many different courses, Gainesville Country Club, Providence Municipal Golf Course, Breckenridge Golf Course, he was assistant manager of food service at the Earle C. Clements Job Corp, and ran the snack bar.

Mr. Fowler is survived by his wife of 22 years, Beverly of Providence, KY; his daughters, Alice Hawkins of Texas; Michelle of Florida;his son, Michael Fowler of Florida; his brother, Ron (Frances) Fowler of Henderson, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday July 18, 2025, at 1:00PM in the Lucille Melton Memorial Chapel at Lewis Funeral Home LLC with Bro. Nick Duvall officiating with entombment to follow in the Lakeview Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held on Thursday July 17, 2025, from 4:00PM until 7:00PM and from 9:00AM until the service hour on Friday at the funeral home.
