On January 28, 2023, Ray Lopez Garza loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away peacefully in the city of Tremonton, Utah in the comfort of his home by the care of his beautiful wife Rosie Garza.

Ray was born on July 2, 1956 in Abernathy, Texas to Manuel and Eulalia Lopez Garza. He was raised in Lubbock, Texas but spent the majority of his life in Tremonton, where he met the love of his life Rosie. They were married on September 26, 1998 at the Santa Ana church.

Ray enjoyed anything outdoors including: camping, fishing, and hunting. His greatest love was spending time with his kids and grandchildren. He enjoyed experimenting with new recipes that he’d see on the cooking channel and cooking for his family.

Ray was a friend to all. He made many lifelong friends by sitting outside his home and talking/joking with anyone that would walk by.

Ray is survived by his wife Rosie; children: Pedro Jesus ( Kaitlyn ) Solis, Nicholas Jesus ( Lupe ) Gonzalez, Manuel Garza and Latoya Ray Garza ( LG ) Rivera.

He has a prosperity of 22 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Nora Garza and his brother Daniel Garza.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Manuel and Eulalia Lopez Garza, Nicole Garza ( daughter ), Manuel Ray Garza ( son ), and siblings Olga Carmona, Annie Garza, David Garza, Sammy Garza, Billy Garza, Mario Garza, and Homer Garza.

A Rosary will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 5-6 P.M, with a viewing to follow from 6-7:30 P.M. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N 100 E- Tremonton). Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11 A.M. at the Santa Ana Church (760 W 600 N -Tremonton). Interment in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery. The services will be livestreamed and may be accessed below.

The family would like to give a special thanks to everyone in these unprecedented times in their time of need through your prayers and thoughts, as they navigate through this difficult time as a family.
