She was born on June 13, 1975, in Ogden, Utah, to Sandra Lee Keppler and Ted Keppler. Misty found her soulmate in Brandon Lee Nuzman, and they shared a beautiful life together, culminating in their marriage on September 5, 2011, in Plymouth, Utah.
Throughout her life, Misty lived in various communities, including Plymouth, Tremonton, and Garland. She attended Bear River High School and embarked on a career that included working as a flagger in construction and then Auto-liv for about four years.
Misty had a vibrant personality and a passion for activities that brought her joy. An accomplished bowler, she earned many trophies throughout her bowling career. She was proud to receive her Emergency Disaster certification, highlighting her commitment to helping others. However, her greatest joy came from caring for her children and animals, creating delicious meals, and engaging in crafts and DIY projects, especially rock hounding.
Misty was also an active participant in her community, being a dedicated member of both her bowling team and softball team.
She leaves behind her beloved children, Drake Bennett and Cade Belseth, as well as Brandon's children: Brandon Nuzman Jr., Ayla Nuzman, Shyanne Sattanak, Coby Nuzman, Braxton Nuzman, Jackson Nuzman, and Nicholas Nuzman. She is further survived by her sister, Sadie Pettingill, who will cherish her memory.
Misty is preceded in death by her parents, Sandra Lee Keppler and Ted Keppler, and her brother, Kalob Ted Keppler.
A visitation to honor Misty's life will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rudd Funeral Home-Tremonton (111 N 100 E-Tremonton).
Special thanks to Brandon Nuzman for loving and caring for Misty so very much. They are more than soulmates and radiated each other's energy immensely.
