Ray Hart Jr. Obituary
Ray LeRoy Hart Jr. of Eagle, passed away on February 25, 2024, at the Mid-Michigan Hospice House in East Lansing, Michigan. Ray was born November 4, 1950, the son of Ray and Elsie (Wong) Hart. In 1968 Ray graduated from Carson City High School. He worked hard as a telephone man for 32 years. He will be remembered as a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, co-worker, and friend to many.
Ray is survived by his wife Susan (Secor) of 53 years, son Ray (Melissa) Hart III, grandsons Devon (Shanessa) Hart, Chris and Matthew Frohner, granddaughter Michaela Frohner and great grandson Tristen Hart, sisters; Mary Hart, Beta (Doug) Cook, Judy (Galen) Young, brother Joe (Kathy) Hart and many nieces and nephews.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Christy Jo Hart, sister, Betty V. Hart, niece, Stephanie Hart and nephew, Cody Helman.
Visitation will be held Thursday May 9, 2024, from 4-8 p.m. with the rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m. at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland. Rite of Committal will be in Portland Cemetery.
Donations may be made in his honor to The American Cancer Society. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
