Raymond Loux, 77, of Sheffield, IA passed away November 7, 2024. Funeral Services will be held at Surls Funeral home, visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. with service to follow at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 16, with burial in Union Cemetery after. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.
Raymond was born October 16th in the Hampton Hospital. He grew up on a farm outside of Clarion, IA where he attended country school until it was closed and started attending the school in Clarion, IA. Raymond met the love of his life, Diane, his senior year of high school. They were married September 19th, 1966. Raymond was a devoted husband, and father to their children. Later in life Diane and Raymond traveled across America from job site to job site in many different states. Along the way Raymond met many people and collected many stories to tell the grandchildren as well.
Raymond is survived in death by his daughter, Kristen Loux, grandchildren, Johnathan and wife Patricia, Emily, and Donnica Keeling, great grandchildren Caroline Odem, Vivianna and Andrez Hernandez. Son Allen and spouse Lisa Loux, grandchildren Cody and wife Andrea, Jake and Wife Maria, Zachary and spouse Paige, Riley, and Samuel Loux, great grandchildren Jayson, Ava, Alessia, and Berkleigh, Ellie Loux. As well as his sister-in-law Ruth and husband Jim Winker, and brother-in-law Rick and wife Tina Reagan, and several nieces and nephews.
Raymond is preceded in death by his wife Diane Loux, daughter Mary Elizabeth Loux, mother-in-law Harriet (Hillhouse) Reagan, and father-in-law Keith Reagan.
