Ray J. Maciak
February 25, 1944 - February 28, 2025
It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing Ray J. Maciak, 81, of West Palm Beach, FL. Passed away peacefully with family at his bedside on February 28, 2025. Born on February 25, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan. Ray proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for two years before making Florida his home in 1968.
A skilled and respected Master Electrician, Ray owned and operated Mercury Electric before continuing his career as an electrical inspector for the Town of Wellington. His dedication to hiscraft was matched only by his love for his family and the outdoors. He found joy in hunting, fishing, and spending time with those he cherished most.
Ray was a devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie Maciak; his daughters, Sandra Redditt (James) and Julia Hays (Matt); and his beloved grandchildren, Devin Esfeller and Jackson Esfeller. He is also survived by his siblings, Roy Maciak, Barbara Calhoun, Dorothy Griffith, Catherine Richards, and Mary Wanless.He was preceded in death by his mother, Genevieve Cederwall and father Frank Maciak.
Ray's kindness, wisdom, generosity and unwavering love for his family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the memories shared by those he touched.A service to honor Ray's life will be held at Martin Funeral Home & Crematory, 961 S. Kanner Highway, Stuart, FL on Saturday, March 22, 2025 with Visitation starting at 12 noon and the Service to start at 1:00 PM beginning with full U.S. Military Honors.
Ray will be deeply missed. His guidance and presence we will forever carry in our hearts.
