It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Ray Matteucci, known affectionately as "Tucci" to his loved ones. Born on April 26, 1972, in Ogden, UT, Ray spent his 53 years living life to the fullest, bringing joy, laughter, and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing him. A creative soul with a heart full of love, Ray was known for his unique ability to inject humor into any situation, making those around him feel comfortable and cherished.

Ray was resilient, his strength manifested in his everyday interactions with loved ones. His beautiful smile and the light in his eyes were a reflection of his unwavering loyalty to family and friends, the people who mattered most to him. He had a passion for drawing, fishing, and gardening; these activities offered him a sense of peace and satisfaction that he loved to share with others. Music was a constant companion in Ray's life, and he enjoyed simple gatherings with family and friends. Ray found joy in his life by doodling "Tucci" on everything he could.

Ray is survived by his wife, of 25 years, Tressia Elaine Matteucci; his parents, Max Dee and Kandice Lea Matteucci; siblings Al Dee Matteucci and Kanya Matteucci Zarfl; his son, Kristapher Max Matteucci; daughter-in-law Alyssa Matteucci and granddaughter Lainey Noelle Matteucci; step-son, Travis Ray Foote; step-granddaughter, Pearl Rose Foote; step-son, Korey Lee Allred; nephew, Braeden Terry Matteucci ; niece, Kinley-Anne Zarfl. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence and Florence Faught and Guido and Donna Matteucci; his uncle and aunt, Guy and Rosemary Matteucci; aunt, Shelly Faught; and cousin, Jared Rose.

Ray's spirit and memory will forever be a part of those who loved him deeply. We will have a Celebration of Life in the near future, but we encourage all who knew and loved Ray to share their memories and upload photos to his memorial page as a way of celebrating his life and the joy he brought to us all.
