EAST LIVERPOOL – Ray S. McComas, 93, of Rogers, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Calcutta Health Care Center with his family by his side.

Ray was born in Fez, WV on September 26, 1932, a son of the late Lincoln and Sudia Mae (Pack) McComas. He was a veteran proudly serving in the Army during the Korean War. Ray worked at the GM Plant in Lordstown until his retirement. He was a member of Mt. Zion Church in Rogers. Ray was a hardworking man and enjoyed working on his farm. He loved John Deere tractors.

Preceding Ray in death were his 1st wife Iris Mae (Elkins) McComas; 2nd wife Marie (Finley) McComas; stepson James Stone and two brothers Carl McComas and Andrew McComas.

Left to cherish his memory are his three step daughters Pam Talkington and her husband Rev. Alvin, Diane McMann and her husband Randy and Donna Zingaro; step son James "Tony" Henson and his wife Chris; three sisters Arlene Young, Betty Calkins and Murnia Metrovich; three brothers Vay Ronnie McComas, Herbert McComas and Johnny McComas; nine step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.

Friends may visit Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 p.m. Pastor Norm Eckert will conduct a funeral service 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home where Tri State Veterans Burial Group will conduct military honors. Private burial at Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Following the service the family will gather at the Dawson Family Center for a time of fellowship.
