Ray Anthony Moore, age 73, of the Long Creek Community in Rocky Point, NC, peacefully entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 8th, 2026. He was the beloved son of the late Willis and Alice Shiver Moore.
Ray was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to family and friends. His warm smile and generous nature touched the lives of all who knew him. A pillar of strength and compassion in his community, he leaves behind a legacy of love, integrity, and kindness that will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
A public visitation for family and friends will take place February 13th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel located at 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, North carolina.
During the 12:00 hour prior to the service the final viewing will take place. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, February 14th, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at the Middle District Missionary Baptist Association in Burgaw, North Carolina.
Interment rites will take place immediately following the service at Hill Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Rocky Point, NC.
