Ray Nardo Obituary

On Tuesday, July 19th, 2022, Ray Arthur Nardo, father of four, passed away in his home from natural causes. Born July 21, 1958, in New York City, the only child of Robert Kenneth Nardo and Carol Arthur. Married Valerie Griffin in 1981 (divorced 1990) with whom he raised four children. After graduating high school he worked as a city bus operator in New York City, then in Eugene, Oregon where the family moved in 1989. Ray moved to Memphis in early 2020. Ray was a great athlete in his youth, a lifelong lover of music and sports, and known for his humor, infectious personality, and ability to make friends everywhere. He lovingly cared for his aging mother in his home for years. Ray is survived by Bob, Kelly, Max and Matty, and six grandchildren.

A funeral Mass and reception will be held at St. Theresa Little Flower Catholic Church at 1644 Jackson Ave, Memphis, on Friday, August 5th at 1pm.
