Ray Edwin Sneed, our family's gentle giant, is now resting peacefully. Ray was a very selfless man, willing to drop anything, at any time, to help his family. Ray was a hard worker, putting in 30 years at GM's Bus and Truck plant working the stamping machine. Needless to say, Ray was very strong! He was always quiet during family functions until it was time for one of his famous one liner zingers that would cause the family to erupt into laughter. This was a trait that we all looked forward to and will miss greatly. Ray enjoyed camping and sitting on the front porch with Chris, his wife of 35 years, spending time outside and walking his dog. When the sun went down he would enjoy his Budweiser and a cigar while watching a Western. He loved the simple joys of life.
Ray is survived by Chris, his two step sons John/wife Laura and Dan/wife Wendy, his grandchildren Alyssa, Andrew, Rachel, Justin, Ashlee, Tommy and great grandchildren, Brian, Calee and soon to be Colton. Ray is also survived by his kids Steven, Michael, David and Susan.
