Ray Tarver Jr.

Walter Ray Tarver, Jr., age 61, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in Pineville, Louisiana. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home.
Visitation for Ray Jr. will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Service will begin at noon with Reverends Bob Tarver and Gary Wiley officiating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Ray Tarver, Sr. and Lucille Hughes Tarver; sister-in-law, Brenda Tarver; and brothers-in-law, Donald Gene Littleton, Sr. and Wayne Roberts.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Mandi Tarver-Walters (Daniel); son, Trey Tarver; brother, Bob Tarver; sisters, Linda Littleton and Lynelle Roberts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Ray Jr. was a big character that loved to share jokes and stories. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing, most recently in his church, Landmark Tabernacle. Ray Jr. also loved his Harley, and could be seen putting more miles on two wheels than almost anyone. He will forever be missed by those that loved him.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Robby Tarver, Jarred Tarver, Junior Littleton, Dylan Littleton, Ray Dale Wiley, Larry "Tiny" Woodson, and Albert Littleton.
