Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Raymond B. Balcomb Sr. and the late Florence Hughes Balcomb. Bart served his country proudly in the United States Army during Korea and worked for Acme Markets for 43 years as a produce clerk, prior to retirement in 1994. Bart was a volunteer fireman for over 20 years for the Dallas Fire Department.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 65 years, Patricia McDade Balcomb; sons, James Balcomb, Athens, Ga.; and Bart, Souderton; and brother-in-law, Robert McDade, Hanover Twp.
A private graveside funeral service will be held in October with military honors in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
