Raymond Lloyd Bland, Sr., age 81, of Corsicana, Texas, passed away on December 28, 2025. Raymond was born on June 4, 1944, in Corsicana, Texas, to Vernon and Mae Bland.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Mae Bland, brother Billy Bland, and his beloved daughter, Joyce Bland-Lloyd.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Sharon Bland; his sons, Bobby Bland and wife Melanie, Raymond Bland, Jr. and wife Dawn, sister Joan Delagarza, and brother Johnny Bland. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Adam Lloyd and wife Nicole; Misty Lloyd Boyer and husband Charlie; Aimee Duke; Amber Garcia; Chris Bland and wife Jessica; Callie De La Cerda and husband Nick; Josh Bland; Jacob Bland; and Daniel Lloyd and wife Devon, along with numerous great-grandchildren whom he cherished deeply.

Raymond spent many years working in the concrete business before later driving a truck and traveling throughout the United States. He was well known for his love of cooking and for sharing meals with friends, family, and church members. As a man of strong faith, Raymond served as a deacon for 40 years and lived his life leading others to Christ while proudly proclaiming his faith and love for Jesus. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be January 2nd from 10am to 11am at Griffin Roughton Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 11:30am at Resthaven Memorial Park with Pastor David Mitchell officiating. Pallbearers will be Jake Duke, Ryder Garcia, Alex Estrada, Jacob Bland, Michael York, Matthew Mitchell, Paul Mitchell and Ben Mitchell.

The family of Raymond Lloyd Bland, Sr., would like to express their heartfelt thanks for the love, prayers, and support shown during this time.
