Raymond Junior Cecil, 63, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home on November 13, 2025.

Raymond was born on May 3, 1962, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Mary Maxwell and Raymond Cecil. A lifelong resident of the area, he built a life rooted in family, hard work, and simple joys. He retired from Branson & Sons Salvage, where he was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a hand.

Raymond had a love for tinkering with cars, especially classic models, and he could often be found in the garage working on a project. He also loved drag racing and the camaraderie and excitement it brought. Those who knew him remember him as a kind-hearted man who loved kids and enjoyed life.

He is survived by his siblings David Cecil, Joe Cecil, Keith Cecil, and Chris Cecil, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Maxwell and Raymond Cecil.

Per Raymond's request, no services of any kind will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
