Raymond C. "Ray" Damico. Age 82. Resident of Ft. Mitchell, KY. Died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, St. Elizabeth Health Care, Florence, KY. WW#2 Marine Sergent. Tailor and co-owner of D'Amico Tailors, Covington, KY. Started his career as a tailor in 1945 with Vic Damico Tailoring, Cincinnati, OH. Preceding to: Shillitoes Department Store as lead tailor/ fitter and Gentry's Men's Shop, Kenwood, OH as foreman of tailoring. Member and 15 year gymnastics teacher grades 1 thru 8, of St. John Church, Covington, KY. Enjoyed boxing becoming a boxer for Joe Seta's Finwick Boxing Club, Cincinnati, OH at age 16. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL 7 PM Tuesday, March 12th, St. John Church, 627 Pike Street, Covington, KY. VISITATION 2 until 6PM Tuesday, March 12th at Allison & Rose Funeral Home, Robbins Street and Madison Avenue, Covington, KY. MILITARY HONORS and INTERMENT 11AM Wednesday, March 13th Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY. Preceded in death by his beloved wife- Jo Ann Kingcade Damico (8-24-2012). Surviving are his: daughter-Bonnie R. Johnson, Sarasota, Fl; sons-Michael A. Damico, Burlington, KY, Stephen J. Damico, Anderson Twp. OH, Douglas M.
