Raymond W. Dawson, (Bill), from Newark NY passed away on August 23, 2025, in the Clifton Springs Hospital.
Born on April 2, 1946, Bill grew up in Batavia and lived there for many years. Bill enjoyed delivering library materials across the OWWL system for over twenty years. Through this work, he became a familiar face to the staff in many libraries.
Bill leaves behind his son Gus (Emily), and was always entertained by his grandchildren Ozzie and Isla. He is also survived by his daughter Michelle Mistretta (Mark), and son Michael. He remained close with his siblings and enjoyed staying in touch with them over the years. He was predeceased by his sister, Becky Judd.
Bill was kind and generous, took great pride in his home and enjoyed keeping track of his neighbors.
No formal services will be held, neighbors and friends are invited to gather at his home on Friday, September 5th from noon until 4 p.m. to remember and celebrate his life.
