Raymond Jacob Fuchs - 10/27/1928 – 12/06/2009. "As for me I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied when I awake, with thy likeness." Psalms 17:15 kjv Preceded in death by: His mother and father, Ida Schlosser Fuchs and Henry Fuchs, Sr. His sisters: Carmelite Beverung and Helen Unverzagt. His brothers: Anthony Fuchs and Henry Fuchs, Jr. A graduate of Fortier High School in New Orleans and attended coursework at Tulane University. He was employed for several decades at Godchaux's as a merchandiser/artist. Additional employment at D.H Holmes, Dillards Department Stores and Victoria's Secret. Survived by cousins and numerous friends, nephews and nieces, great nephews and great nieces, and great-great nephews and great-great nieces. Loved by many and friend to all. He was affectionately known as "Uncle Ray" Friends and family are invited and encouraged to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 West Virtue Street, Chalmette, LA on Friday, December 11, 2009 beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the funeral service time of 1:30 P.M.
