Mr. Raymond Scott Green, age 36

Of Waverly, TN passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Three Rivers Hospital. He was born August 2, 1988, in Nashville, TN.

Raymond graduated from Waverly Central High School in 2006 and furthered his education by completing the Ptech program, earning an associate's degree from Nashville State Community College. His commitment to education was a true testament to his character, reflecting his desire to learn and grow which he combined with an innate dedication to providing for his family. Raymond was known for being a hard worker, continuously striving to ensure that his family was supported and cared for.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Raymond served honorably in the United States Navy. His military service illustrated his unwavering commitment to his country and his ability to rise to challenges with dignity and resolve.

An avid gamer, Raymond often spent his leisure time immersed in digital worlds, a hobby that allowed him to express his creativity and connect with friends old and new.

Raymond’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be remembered not only for his hardworking nature and his serviceman’s honor but also for the kindness and joy he brought into the lives of others. Though his physical presence may be gone, the spirit of Raymond will continue to be a guiding light for his family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00pm Thursday, March 13th at Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Graveside Services for Mr. Green will be conducted at 12:00pm Friday, March 14, 2025, at Swiss Cemetery in Hohenwald, TN with Bro. Arthur McCormack officiating.

Interment will follow.
