Mrs. Connie Sue Curtis Wright, age 60
Of McEwen, TN passed away Friday, February 27, 2026, at her home. She was born on July 15, 1965, in Dickson, TN to Johnny and Nora Mae Curtis.
Connie radiated warmth and love throughout her years, embodying a spirit that was deeply devoted to her faith, her family, and her passion for nurturing all living creatures around her.
Connie dedicated a part of her life to serving as a cafeteria worker at Waverly Elementary School for eight fulfilling years before transitioning to Waverly Central High School, where she continued to share her kindness and culinary talents for two additional years.
An active member of Open Bible Assembly in McEwen, Connie's faith was the foundation of her life and a source of strength to all who knew her. She was a woman whose heart radiated the love of Jesus. She found profound joy not just in her faith, but in her family and the animals that graced her farm. Whether it was tending to her beloved pets or sharing a meal around the table with her loved ones, Connie embodied a spirit of generosity.
Though she may no longer be with us, her spirit will forever resonate in the lives she touched. Connie will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00pm Monday, March 2nd and from 9:00am until service time Tuesday, March 3rd at Open Bible Assembly in McEwen.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Wright will be conducted at 11:00am Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Open Bible Assembly in McEwen with Bro. Kent Curtis officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in McEwen.
