Raymond "Rick" Frederick Knuppel, III, aged 62, was a resident of Cherry Valley, and previously lived in Bozeman, Montana. He passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2025, in Wynne. Rick was born on January 3, 1963, in Houston, Texas, to Raymond Frederick, Jr. and Danna Vee Mathis Knuppel.

Rick completed high school in Durango, Colorado, graduating in 1982. He loved searching for gold and worked as a custom carpenter-creating furniture, decks, fences, gates, and more. Rick also enjoyed fishing with his dog, Moose. Known for his hardworking nature and kindness, he often put others before himself. He recently moved to Wynne, about two months ago, to be near his sister. Rick deeply cherished his children and grandchildren, taking immense pride in them. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by everyone whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his parents, Raymond, Jr. and Danna Knuppel of Leander, Texas; his only son, Justin Knuppel of Austin, Texas; three daughters-Chelsi Custer and her husband Robert of Austin, Texas; Hunter Farmer and her husband Josh of Kyle, Texas; Shelbi Ore and husband Spencer of Bozeman, Montana; one brother, Randy Knuppel of Lovette, Texas; two sisters-Tandi Rutledge and her husband Tim of Leander, Texas, and Tori Buckland and her husband Charlie of Cherry Valley; four grandchildren-Cayden Castro, Declan Custer, Owen Ore, and Onyx Ore; his loyal companion Moose; as well as many other relatives and friends.

The family will hold a memorial service in Galveston, Texas at a later date.
