Raymond "Frenchy" LeJeune, 91 formerly of Topeka, Kansas, died peacefully surrounded by his family, July 5, 2022, in McKinney, Texas, following a courageous battle with metastatic cancer.
Raymond is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy; and their children, Timothy (Cricket) LeJeune and Marc LeJeune; as well as his grandsons, James LeJeune and Jordan LeJeune. Frenchy was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca (Karl) Naylor.
Raymond retired in 1967 from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. After his military service, he worked 26 years for Hallmark Cards, Inc until his retirement. He had been a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Councils 534 and 2608 and the James W. Gibbons Fourth Degree Assembly.
Frenchy's family will greet friends from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 14, at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, where a Fourth Degree Chalice Ceremony will be held at 9:30 followed by the rosary led by the Knights of Columbus. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at the Church. Inurnment, with military honors, will be in West Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and sent in care of Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614.
