Raymond R. McArdle of Wurtsboro died on August 26, 2025 at Nuvance Health Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was 59 years old.

The son of the late Elizabeth A. and James P. McArdle, he was born on November 26, 1965 in Port Jervis, NY.

Ray was the proprietor of Five-Star Termite & Pest Control, where he built a legacy of service over the years. He had a passion for entomology, delighting in exploring the world of insects, and he loved sharing this knowledge with others. Ray enjoyed spending his free time in nature, whether on the water fishing, or taking a stroll in the woods. As a grandfather, he discovered a new chapter in life, cherishing every moment spent with his grandchildren, despite the distance that separated them.

In addition to his parents Ray was predeceased in life by his brother James P. McArdle along with James's wife Gloria.

Beloved father of Rachael Thompson (Brandon), Raymond R. McArdle Jr (Hosanna) and Angela McArdle (Lukas). Cherished grandfather of Selah, Raymond and Sylvia. Dear brother of Harold "Hal" McArdle and Bill McIsaac. Fond uncle of James McArdle Jr (Karolina) and Tracy McArdle-Sanfilippo (Carmelo) along with his many other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will take place from 1 to 4:00PM on Saturday August 30th at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home 154 East Main Street Port Jervis NY. Following services a private cremation will take place at MacLennan Hall Crematorium.
