Raymond D. Mills age 86, of Burlington, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on January 26, 1939 to the late Raymond and Dorothy Mills (nee Mullikin).
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his Sister, Bonnie Suedkamp.
Raymond is survived by his beloved Wife of 36 years, Carlyn L. Mills (nee Bray); Granddhildren, Greyson Bambach, Asher Bambach, Bray Bambach, Brother, Michael (Chris) Mills; and a host of other family members and friends.
Raymond was drafted into the US Army and was asked "what division?" his reply was that he wanted to learn to use heavy equipment and they gave him a tank guarding on the 38th Parallel. While in the service he had a bleeding ulcer and was shipped to Walter Reed Hospital until he was healed. Then he was put on duty mowing the Pentagon, before finishing his tour of duty over seas. Ray enlisted in the Navy and became a fireman at the airport in Newfoundland. His chosen profession was lawn Care and he mowed with his wife Carlyn.

Funeral Ceremony will be 12:00 pm Monday, August 25, 2025 with a visitation from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Belleview Baptist Church, 6658 5th Street, Burlington , Kentucky 41005, with burial to follow at Belleview Baptist Cemetery.
