Raymond L. Nace, age 87, passed away on June 6, 2025 at Gettysburg Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Charlotte M. Nace; together they shared 64 years of marriage.
Raymond was born in North Codorus on April 11, 1938 and was the son of the late John A. and Charlotte (Rishel) Nace. He spent 32 years working for York Corrugating, before moving to the Spring Grove Area Elementary School for 8 years prior to retirement. Raymond enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, traveling, and camping with his wife. He was a member of Paradise Evangelical Lutheran Church.
In addition to his wife Charlotte, Raymond is survived by his children Lori Eichelberger and husband Todd, Robert Nace, Suzanne Elicker, and husband Shane, and Richard Nace and wife Patricia; his 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings John Nace, Ralph Nace, Ruthann Stremmel, and Verna Bankert. Raymond was preceded in death by his son John A. Nace; his daughter in law Tambre Nace; and his siblings Melvin, Harry, Thelma, Edith, Florence, Helen, and Erma.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Raymond's life will be held on Tuesday at 11:00AM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 175 N. Main St. Spring Grove PA 17362, with Rev. Sigrid Hipkiss officiating. The internment will immediately follow at Marburg Memorial Gardens. Viewings will be held on Monday from 5:00-7:00PM and on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00AM, both at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Raymond's memory can be made to Paradise Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3241 Church Rd, Thomasville, PA 17364.
