Raymond “Randy” Bryan Pierce age 63 of Dandridge, peacefully went to be with Jesus on Thursday September 5th, 2024, with his loving family by his side. Randy was born and raised in Hamblen County. He graduated from Morristown West High. He was known for his excellent carpenter skills and helped build numerous homes with contractors within the community. He had a love for many things such as playing video poker, watching Nascar races but most of all he loved spending time with his grandkids as they brought him so much joy.
He attended Alpha Baptist Church as a child and was saved at the age of eight. He was currently a member of Grace Baptist Church in Dandridge. He loved to fish, and he loved to go night fishing in his younger years. His happy place was on the water. He always seen the best in people and wanted to help anyone he could. He has always had a kind heart for others and animals. He got joy out of making others laugh.
He is now reunited with his maternal grandparents Bryan and Maude Purkey, his little sister Janet whom he missed terribly, his dad Jack Pierce and a host of friends. We can only imagine the beautiful reunion they must be having now.
He leaves behind his mother Alma Pierce Gann who loved him dearly through it all, his loving children Ashleigh Mosier (Sissy Babe) and her spouse Michael, Jordan Pierce (Wormy rat) and his significant other Jocelyn Griffin and Justin Horton (Rugrat). He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Callon Pierce, Annabelle, Elliemae and Lacyjane Mosier. Sister Karen Estes, brother-in-law Jason, nephew Michael Estes and several cousins. Special friends and caregivers Rick and Jessica and many other friends.
We want to express gratitude to Dr. Health Llyod for giving Randy the best care for the past 14 years, Dr. Maran along with his office staff and the precious nurses on CCU at MHHS Alley and Haley.
The family will be receiving friends on Monday September the 9th, 2024 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City from 5-7 and funeral to follow at 7pm with brother Joe Hasse. On Tuesday September 10th, 2024, we will meet at Sunderland Cemetery in Talbott for the graveside services at 11am.
