Raymond Pilarczyk

Raymond Phil Pilarczyk, age 88, of Falls City TX, passed away quietly at his home amongst family December 15, 2025. Raymond was the only child born to Philemon Pilarczyk and Victoria Moczygemba Pilarczyk in Orange Grove, TX on February 21, 1937, his family moving to Falls City at an early age.

Raymond married Dorothy Kopecki on October 22, 1966. Raymond had many passions in his life. He had a strong faith in God and prayer, was an avid outdoorsman, loved the sport of football, had a hidden talent for the arts which he imparted to his children's children, read often and had a deep interest in WWII's Eastern European theater and most of all his family and his loving wife Dorothy. Raymond worked offshore for Shell Oil Company for close to 30 years and shared a close bond with his fellow coworkers who shared in an arduous job which had its dangers. Raymond also had many friends who he valued dearly from his youth and the community in which he grew up in and participated his whole life. He will be deeply missed. From enjoying a tale tale, to lending a helping hand when needed, a special breed which personified being a noble Texan.

Raymond is survived by his wife Dorothy and his seven children: Raymond Jr, Laurie, Mark, Bonnie, Jennifer, Kristy and Jessica. This also includes his many grandchildren who will miss his witty jovial character and sincere concerns for their happiness and future.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Holy Trinity Church in Falls City, TX. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. and the Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m., also at the church. Burial will follow at the Falls City Cemetery. His sons and close relatives will serve as pallbearers.
