Raymond Presbrey Obituary
He was the husband of the late Phyllis (Gabrielson) Presbrey.
Born in Pascoag, he was the son of Leroy Sr. and Carrie (Tinkham) Presbrey.
Ray served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Gilmore during the Korean War. He worked for several years as an Engineering Manager - retiring from GTE.
He is survived by his five sons and their wives: Glen and Deborah of Mapleville, Jeffrey and Paula of Oakland, Scott and Louise of Slatersville, Craig and Karen of Pascoag and Timothy and Diana of Harrisville and his close friend Patricia Mageau. Ray was well loved by his eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Ray was predeceased by his siblings Leroy Presbrey Jr. and Leonard Presbrey.
A funeral service for Ray will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 10 AM in the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave., Pascoag. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Acotes Hill Cemetery, Putnam Pike, Chepachet. Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 11 from 4 to 7 PM.
