Raymond R. Rapone, 71, of Gloucester Street, Providence, died peacefully on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Medio and Elsie (Urciuoli) Rapone. He had lived in Providence his whole life.
Ray worked as an electronics salesman at William Dandreta Company and as a customer service representative at Walmart before retiring.
He is survived by his sister, Elisa Russell of Smithfield and her husband Robert; a brother, Paul Rapone of Warwick and his wife Marcia; nieces and nephews, Angela Olson, Justen Rapone, Tamara Russell and Michael Russell; and great nephew and niece, Charlie Rapone and Adelyn Olson. He was the brother of the late Ronald Rapone.
His funeral will be held Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 9 am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. A celebration of life will be held at 10 am at Glad Tidings Community Church, 111 Victory Highway, Chepachet. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 20, 2025, 4-7 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Ste 1509, New York, NY 10018. The Parkinson's Foundation
