Raymond R. Ryea, age 92, of Madisonville, passed peacefully from this world to his heavenly home on Monday, Sept. 23, 2024, at the Waters of Sweetwater Nursing Home after a battle with Alzheimer's.
He was born on Jan. 15, 1932, to Marshall and Violet Ryea.
He married the light of his life, Pat, on Dec. 23, 1988.
He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and Civil Service, retiring from both. He worked as a skilled auto mechanic in various locations, both overseas and here in the U.S.
Ray truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, playing country and bluegrass music on his beloved Martin guitars and interacting with his beloved dogs.
He is survived by: his wife of 35 years, Pat;
Three sons, Allen, Ronald and Chris;
Many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
He also touched the lives of many friends he met through his music and love of dogs.
He will be interred in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Rumney, New Hampshire, on Friday, Oct. 4, 2024.
