Raymond Salvo

Raymond Salvo, 61, of Rahway, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025.

Born in Queens, NY, on August 20, 1964, Raymond later moved to Absecon, NJ, with his family. After high school, he worked at Harrah's Casino in Atlantic City as a blackjack dealer for fifteen years. Customers loved playing at his table, and everyone knew his name. He was a true wizard with technology and was always ready to help anyone who needed assistance with their home computer.

Raymond eventually started his own business, RayWare Computers, which became a successful venture built on his skill, patience, and generosity. He loved talking with people and took joy in helping anyone in need. Everyone who knew Raymond admired his kindness and vast knowledge. If you asked him anything, he would always know the answer.

While continuing his work with computers, Raymond moved to Rahway, NJ, where he also managed an apartment building for Sterling Property Management as superintendent. It was there that he met his fiancée, Maribel Mendez, who became the love of his life along with her daughter Ana and granddaughter Zaina.

Raymond is survived by his sisters Trina Mello, Renee Paccione, Lena Ferone (Dominick), and Denise Diana (Lou), his brother Ronald Mello, and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Rosalie and Orazio Salvo, his brothers Douglas Mello, Dennis Mello, and Gary Mello, his sister Diane Mello, and his nephews Joseph Mello and Christopher Mello.

Raymond will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and endless curiosity - a man who could fix anything and who made everyone around him feel cared for.

A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am at Divine Mercy Parish Catholic Church located at 232 Central Avenue in Rahway, NJ,
