Raymond G. Schaefer
Ray was born on January 4, 1956 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Raymond and Bernice Schaefer. He passed away on Tuesday May 14, 2024 age 68 years.
Ray is further survived by a sister; Sharon Schramek, a nephew; Michael (Julia) Schramek, great nephew; Hayden and great niece; Hayley.
Visitation Thursday May 23 at Harder Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 12:00 PM followed by a procession to Highland Memorial Park.
Ray worked for over 40 years at St. Joseph Hospital as a Sterile Processing Technician. In his free time Ray enjoyed playing the accordion.

I'll always remember watching Raymond play the Steel Guitar when i was a young child. I never heard a better version of The Steel Guitar Rag done better than him. If I ever hear a Steel guitar, I think of him. He was so good playing the accordion as well. Awesome hearing him play polka on it.
