Raymond Seitz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care - Peters Township on Apr. 9, 2024.
Raymond L. Seitz age 73 of McMurray passed away unexpectedly in the Bahamas on March 18, 2024.
Ray was born in Evansville, IN on February 15, 1951 to the late Doris and George Seitz.
Beloved husband of 47 years to the love of his life, Carol Seitz, together they built a beautiful family. Loving father to Celeste (Mark) Rust, Jennifer (Brian) Bettinger, and Bryan (Samantha) Seitz, cherished grandfather to Avery and Lydia Rust, Nora, Lila, and Ada Bettinger, and Norah Seitz, dear brother to David (Toni) Seitz and Georgette and brother in law to Sandy (Gary) McDowell. Ray was also blessed with nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Ray was a very outgoing and social guy who built many long standing relationships in his life, whether it was while working in the tire industry or being the proclaimed gotsfather of his cul-de-sac he made an imprint on all the lives he touched. In his free time Ray loved to go fishing or working with his hands, however not many know that Ray's past was filled with thrilling moto cross racing, which he remained passionate about throughout his life. Ray was a fierce and loving family man, who loved to experience life especially with his family and friends. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 13, 2024 at 1:30 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317.
In lieu of flowers, memorial trees can be planted in Ray's honor through American Forests Plant a tree
