Dear Carol, I just came across Ray's Obituary in the Retrospect. I am so sorry that I found out so late. Many years ago you wrote a note to me in the yearbook about my providing a shoulder for you at the after-play party. I wish I had been able to attend and offer you a figurative shoulder during this sad time.I have been living away from Collingswood for many years, but I return frequently and I have seen you and Ray on a number of occasions. I regret that we have not kept in closer touch. Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss and go forward glorying in the love of your children and grandchildren.

Carol, I just learned that Ray passed away; I am so very sorry. I hope your children and family live close to you. I lost my husband John (Oaklyn) to cancer 17-years ago. If I can be of help in any way, please feel free to let me know... I'll be there for you in a heart-beat. Take care.
