Raymond L. Shawhan, Jr., age 76, of Riverside, passed away February 5, 2026. He was born April 26, 1949 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Raymond and Alberta Shawhan. In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Shawhan; grandson, Coty Hasty; and brother, Ronald Shawhan.
Ray is survived by his sons: Litahni Shawhan (Kristie), Robin Shawhan (Shawnterra), Nakia Shawhan and Patrick Shawhan; daughter-in-law, Sandy Shawhan; grandchildren: Landen, Anastasia (Zack), Nathan (Hailey), Zack Bug (Katie), Elijah (Tara), Scoob (Hailey), Shianna, Skylar, Dakoda, Ashlynn, Arionna and Madison; several great-grandchildren: Remi, lil Zack and Caiden; sister, Nora Shawhan; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ray enjoyed taking his grandson, Landen fishing.
Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 am on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Graveside service will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
