My brothers and I grew up with Dennis, he was an everyday part of our lives between 1970 and, for me 1985, the year I moved to Oregon. He and his family lived just up the driveway across our backyard creek bridge. He was there for the years of camping creekside in the backyard, centerfold girls & 300 cigars in the garage loft fort, running the streets in the wee hours, throwing apples at cars.; there the years we discovered pot, rock-n-roll, concerts ´n all that. Dennis was the first of us to drive, have his own car. Then during my college years, he knew to toss pebbles at my bedroom window to get my attention to come down and let him in. I was often up late doing homework. Finally, just before I moved out of Ohio, Dennis and his wife Colleen lived in the lower level of Austin´s house immediately across our creek bridge - He lived in our backyard! While we fell out of touch after my move away, his death has made me realize he´s still in here in my heart.
Bon Voyage Dear Friend.

Dennis I am going to miss you so much brother! I am so broken hearted for you and your family. I will always remember our conversations about the buckeyes, racing, cars, and all the laughs and wisdom you shared with me. Rest your soul in heaven my friend, love ya brother!!
