Raymond L. Siren

Age 90, of Upper St. Clair, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Connie Siren for 65 years; loving father of Eugene (the late Jacqueline Whitney) Siren, Susan (Douglas) DeLeo, Gail (Roy) Heinl, and the late Gerrilynne (surviving-David) Walk; cherished grandfather of Christopher, Edward, Joe, Stephen, Ben, Morgan, Denise, and Andrew; proud great-grandfather of Mia; brother of Larry Siren; and son of the late Urho and Lillian (Walters) Siren. After graduating high school in Donora in 1948, Ray attended both Juniata College and MIT. He had a long and successful career in chemical sales with various companies. A new career path took Ray back to school where he earned his doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh. He went on to teach at Washington & Jefferson College for many years before he retired. Once Ray took on a new interest, he excelled in it. Those included golf, target shooting, and acting at Little Lake dinner theater. He also was the biggest fan of Seinfeld and Jeopardy.
