Raymond Trumpler Jr. Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A. on Jan. 3, 2026.

Raymond L. Trumpler, Jr., 81, passed away on December 31, 2025. He was born on July 20, 1944, to the late Raymond L. Trumpler, Sr. and Margaret L. Trumpler.

Ray was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosemary Trumpler, whose memory he carried with him always. He is survived by his loving children, Jacqueline Slate (Patrick) Nicole Trumpler, his honorary daughter, Karen Johnson, and loving brother, Frederick Trumpler (Cindy). He will also be fondly remembered by his many friends, and the people whose lives he touched along the way.

Ray enjoyed playing golf, watching sports- both on television and at the field, cheering on the Orioles and Ravens, and meeting new people wherever he went.

Ray dedicated his professional career to the Department of Defense, where he served with pride until his retirement. Never one to slow down, he went on to work several part-time jobs, his favorite being a shuttle driver for a local hotel. There, he found great joy in meeting travelers from all walks of life, listening to their stories, and sharing his own.

His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, Glen Burnie, on Wednesday, Jan. 7th, from 2 - 4 and 6 – 8 PM.
