Raymond Twork Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Shives Funeral Home - Trenholm Road Chapel on Oct. 1, 2022.
Raymond "Berry" Twork II, 42, of Rembert, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, on July 24, 1980, he was the son of Jann Rattray Stanton and the late Raymond "Buzz" Twork.
Berry graduated from Dutch Fork High School where he played football and went to Greenville Technical College for aviation maintenance sciences. Berry was a freemason, holding the title of Master Mason, at the Broad River Lodge #377. Berry was an entrepreneur by heart and a skilled project manager. He was gifted with the desire to be a craftsman and loved constructing things. He was a true outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and had a huge heart for animals. He loved riding his four-wheeler with his dogs running alongside. He enjoyed cooking, dancing, singing karaoke, watching Gamecock football, listening to music, and grilling. He loved spending time with his kids and making memories along the way. Family and friends remember Berry for his big personality and ability to make people laugh. He never met a stranger and took joy in being with his family and friends.
Survivors include his children, Lauren Elizabeth Twork (20) and Luke Twork (16); mother, Jann Rattray Stanton (Eddie); biological father, Timothy Burke; siblings, Heather Gray (Doug); Burgin Burke, and Jantana Burke; as well as many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The memorial service for Mr. Twork will be held at 2 o'clock on Monday, October 10th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC. Family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 o'clock.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Berry's children via Zelle with the email [email protected].
