Sharon Twork Obituary
Sharon Lee Twork, age 82 of Newaygo & Grant, passed away on Saturday morning, December 30, 2023 at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. She was born on August 9, 1941 in Garfield Township, Michigan to Ellis Franklin & Mary Virginia (Brott) Bowman. She had owned & operated Sharon's Beauty Shop for 45 years. Sharon is survived by 3 children: Lori Ball, Wade Nelson, & Adam Twork; 9 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Dave (Kay) Bowman; and by several nieces & nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; and by her brother & his wife, Frank & Gwenna Bowman.
Sharon enjoyed serving her community as a hairdresser (cosmetologist) most of her life. She made many lifetime friends and always helped elderly clients by going to their homes to fix their hair if need be.
She loved her family, raised three children and loved her grandchildren and helped raise some of them. She was loved and will be missed.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of Sharon's life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the American Heart Association. You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.
