Raymond Ugolotti of Manasquan, New Jersey passed away on February 2, 2023, at the age of 92. He was born on September 3, 1930, to Fannie and Aldo Ugolotti in Brooklyn, New York. Ray served in the United States Marine Corps for two years during the Korean War where he was stationed in South Carolina and California. He then worked with his father in home construction before accepting a position with the New York City Department of Buildings-a role that lasted nearly three decades. Before officially retiring, he continued to work as a consultant for top construction companies in Manhattan.
Ray loved being on the golf course, playing pinochle, escaping to Boca Raton, Florida during the winter months, traveling to extraordinary locations around the world and spending countless hours investing in the stock market. He also had a gift of storytelling and made the world a better place with his sharp sense of humor, which left his loved ones roaring with laughter.
Ray is survived and dearly missed by his devoted wife Rosanne of 49 years, his three beloved grandchildren Sofia, John and Tessie Ugolotti, his sister and brother-in-law Marie and Joseph Battaglia, his nephew Stephen Battaglia and his wife Jennifer, his niece Gina Spragg and her husband David, as well as numerous cousins and friends who simply adored him.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Church of St Martha, 3800 Herbertsville Road, Point Pleasant, NJ 08742.
