RAYMOND ALVIN VAIKSNORAS, 85, passed away, Tuesday, March 4, 2025 in Wellstar MCG Medical Center.
Born in Cleveland, OH, Raymond was the beloved son of the late John and Retronella Noskonus Vaiksnoras. He was a proud Virginia Tech Alumni. Raymond embarked on a distinguished career with DuPont, ultimately retiring as the Chief Financial Officer in Charleston, SC. Following his retirement, Raymond enjoyed 25 years in Santee, where he built a home that was a testament to his skills. In 2021, he made the move to Aiken.
Raymond had a variety of interests, including woodworking, boating, fishing, and following college football. He was known as a devoted family man, taking great joy in imparting lessons and skills to his grandsons, a testament to his commitment to his family's growth and development.
Surviving is his daughter, Kathleen S. Dangerfield; two grandchildren, Brandon Dangerfield (Malerie), all of Ladson, SC, Joseph Dangerfield, North Charleston, SC and three great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Kendall and Evangeline Dangerfield.
No service is planned at this time.
