Raymond K. Vigil Jr.

Raymond K. Vigil Jr., our beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2025, at a young age of 19. 

Raymond was born at the Espanola Hospital to Katherine Martinez and Raymond Vigil. He grew up in Espanola, NM,. Raymond was a very friendly young man and had a smile on his face all the time. He also loved the Raiders. 

May he rest in peace and may God bless him today, tomorrow, and always. We will miss you and keep you in our hearts forever. We know that you will be in heaven where your family will be waiting for you with open arms. My son, we will always love you.

Raymond is preceded in death by his grandmother Ida Doris Lopez; grandfather Estevan Joe Martinez, grandfather, Mike Vigil; great-grandmother Clarissa Olivas; great-grandmother Adoneila Martinez, and great grandfather, Anastasio Martinez

Raymond is survived by his parents, Katherine Martinez and companion Rodney Casados. father, Raymond Vigil, and companion Alice Mares; sisters, Brook and Mariah Vigil; aunts, Sarah Vigil and Elisa Martinez; uncles Josh Vigil, and Patrick Martinez; grandfather Raymond Vigil; grandmother Rose Monarque,;great-grandparents, Eurgencio and Orlinda Lopez and Jessie Vigil; numerous close relatives, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

.A Rosary will take place on Monday, November 17, 2025, at DeVargas Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m.
