Joesph C. McBane, born July 3, 1954 in Los Alamos, NM passed away November 2, 2025 at his residence in Abiquiu NM surrounded by his loving wife of 24 years Marilyn and his loving pets. Joseph fought a courageous battle with cancer for over three years and was committed to caring for his wife and pets. A very quiet and private individual, Joseph was very intelligent and maintained a dry and witty sense of humor. He worked successful in several careers including Helicopter Mechanics in the Gulf of Mexico, Fireworks Manufacturing in Roswell, Long-Haul Commercial Truck Driving, and District Supervisor for Rocky Mountain Battery in Denver. Retired for several years, Joe enjoyed taking care of his many pets and doing projects around the home and property in Abiquiu.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents George and Louise McBane, Sister Judy Minnick, and Brother John McBane. He is survived by his wife Marilyn McBane, Brother Jim McBane, Sister Jeanine Lee (Steve) and Sister Jennifer Bremer.
The family of Joseph McBane, has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home of the Española Valley 505-747-7477.
