David McBane Obituary
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of the late Joann McPherson McBane and the son of William E. McBane and Maudie Mae McBane, both deceased. He was a member of the National Guard and retired from Burlington Industries. He was a member of Chatham Friends Meeting and former member of the Hawfields Ruritan Club.
Survivors include two sons, Mark McBane and wife Tina of Snow Camp and Todd McBane and wife Tracy of Gibsonville; three grandchildren, Jason McBane, Seth Dameron and wife Jessica, and Morgan Tickle; one great grandchild, Tanner Dameron; two stepchildren, Randy Ellington and wife Christy and Wayne Scott and wife Amy; six step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian McBane, sister, Mae McBane Losinsky, and stepson, Alton "Tinker" Smith .
A private graveside service will be conducted at Chatham Friends Meeting Cemetery.
